January 2013 Favourites

I dont think I have made any monthly favourites post previous to this one (except the Friday Face Favourites). I think I'll start one this year.

I consider a product to be a favourite if I tend to use those products more often than others. And I realised some of the products I used can be a favourite for a while and then not become a favourite for a while and back to become a favourite.

As for this month, I have few products I consider my favourites.

1. Nivea Daily Essentials Refreshing Cleansing Wipes
I wasnt really a fan of cleansing wipes because I think they never did a good job at what they claimed to do and they always leave a residue on my face. But this one I like. I went on a family holiday to Singapore mid January and i took this with me and it has helped me clean my face in seconds. It doesnt remove mascara though, and it did a good job wiping out foundations and leave my face feeling clean. I didnt rely solely on this in cleaning my face, but I do like it as a pre-cleansing stage.

2. Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain
I have in the colour Romantic. I wore this during the Universal Studio Singapore trip and the colour maintains on my lips through out the whole day. Through all the eating and drinking and the heat and sweat, the colour remains. Whati i like even more is it is not drying on the lips and i've been wearing this product almost for two weeks for the month of January.

3. L'oreal True Match Touche Magique Concealer
This is my go to product whenever Im not feeling like wearing a make up. I put this underneath my eyes and on my dark spots on my face. Although it is an illuminating concealer, i think it does a good job at concealing my dark spots. It also brightens up my eyes. So thumbs up for this!

4. Nivea Pure & Natural Lipbalm
I bought this just recently in January when I went back to my hometown because i forgot to bring back with me my lipbalm and my lips were suffering with a terrible dryness. So I saw this Nivea Pure @ Natural range and thought I'd give their lipbalm a try. It doesnt differ much from their other clear lipbalms but it has a nice suttle herbally fresh scent to it. And it moisturizes my lips.

5. Revlon Lipbutter
This particular lipbutter is in the shade Berry Smoothie. This colour was available in the second batch of Revlon Lipbutters release in Malaysia. I have 2 other shades from the first batch release but I love this one the most because it is the most neutral most wearable colour to me and it does not have any shimmers. Yeay!! I wore this shade the whole week last week and i see me wearing this through out February as well.

6. Bobbi Brown Pot Rouge for Lips and Cheek.
I have this in the colour Powder Pink. Despite the name, i love this better as a cream blush and i only wear this on my cheeks. This is my must have product if Im travelling because I dont need to carry an extra blush brush and saves space.

7. L'oreal Nutri-gloss Light Conditionig Spray
This is my substitute for in-shower conditioner. I hate using conditioner I dont know why. Although i know that you should not skip conditioner if you love your hair, i still do skip *guilty*. Having said that, because of my hate-ness, my already dry and damaged hair is not getting any better. So i found a leave in spray conditioner as a substitue. I do feel the difference on hair my using this conditioner as my hair does feels softer and looks shinier. And i use this everytime on my damp hair and voila! I feel less guilty. Hihi.

So, thats all for my January Favourites. Whats yours?
